🏗️ About This Project

VRCHistory was founded by King (K̶i̶n̶g̶), a 7-year VRChat veteran and Trusted User based in Alaska. The archive was established out of a recognition that VRChat's history — its communities, worlds, and social moments — has no central home for preservation.

Unlike the platform itself, which evolves rapidly and retires old content, VRCHistory exists as a permanent record: a place where a world that no longer loads, a creator who moved on, or an event that happened years ago can still be found, read about, and remembered.

This wiki is built and maintained entirely by the community. Every page, every photo, every documented moment is contributed by people who were there.

Think of it like the Smithsonian — but for virtual worlds. We don't own the exhibits. We just make sure they aren't forgotten.

This archive is built by the community. If you have knowledge about a specific era of VRChat, a famous world, or a notable creator, your contributions are welcome. You don't need to be an expert — you just need to remember something worth saving.
